Well how great is this???
Well Hello Hello!!!
Unfortunately I have stumbled upon this at just about my crash and burn point for this evening but I want to check in and first of all say thank you for getting this set up Ms Keni Lynn and to Steve-O I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to even speak with you this past weekend. It stinks that you were so close and having a mini-reunion. I've just been dragging the past few weeks and to make a long story short after a fun ambulance ride, 3 days& 2 nights in the hospital, and 2 blood transfusions I woke up this morning feeling amazing- as it turns out an entire warehouse of Red Bull's doesn't even come close to touching the miracle of good blood.
I'm fine, I just had severely low red platelet stores and the baby (it's a a girl!) was getting whatever I could produce.
I'll sign on tomorrow and give a full update, miss you all and hope all is well for everyone.
Chris and Brenda, are you guys as Hannah Montana saturated as I am?

VWFC Seattle Tour Stops
I've enjoyed VWFC members visiting Seattle over the years. It seems everyone knows someone here and I've been able to see Keni, Steve, Sissy, and Leisl over the years. Even Big Dave is visiting this April.
Steve flew in last weekend on about 12 hours notice to see Tesla start its new tour, meet Sonics' rookie Jeff Green, watch Jesi's basketball team, watch the Super Bowl, and go to a Sonics game. Sadly, Tesla canceled about 4 hours before showtime because of the I-90 pass being closed due to avalanches.
So instead we took a trip north to the Tulalip Casino to watch Mister Miyagi, a great '80s and '90s cover band (http://www.mistermiyagi.com/). As wingman, I managed to help Steve hook up with a local lovely and was so proud to see young Padawan score some digits on his own. My little boy is all grown up now.
At the end of the hectic 4 days, my body reminded me it is pushing 40 and can no longer stay out until 4:00 AM two nights in a row. Sucks getting old.

I'd like this to evolve into a place for communication with original and adopted members of the VWFC, originally established in 1986(?) at Bartlett High School in Anchorage. My current goal is to scan in our old stuff, photos, newsletters, memorabilia, etc. and move on from there.
